FANTASY RACING PICK 'EM THREAD: THE CHASE: PHOENIX: O'REILLY AUTO PARTS 500
THIS IS OUR VERSION OF FANTASY RACING. WE DID THE CHASE DRIVER LINE UP LAST SEASON AND IT WAS A HIT.
The top 5 players will be posted on the main page of the site.
The "Chase season" starts 09/20/09 and ends 11/22/09.
Your picks will be due by Friday morning at 9 am, except for the races that are run on Saturday night. Then your picks will be due Thursday morning by 9 am. Results will be posted in a separate thread each Sunday night by 9:00PM .
ALL POINTS HAVE BEEN RESET TO 5,000.
Each week, you will come here and guess which position the list of
drivers will finish in. The list of drivers will consist of Chase
Drivers only.
WHEN YOU PICK A DRIVER FOR THE CHASE DRIVER LINE UP,
YOU ARE GUESSING WHICH POSITION HE WILL FINISH THE RACE
IN, FROM 1ST, 2ND, 3RD, 4TH OR 5th PLACE ONLY.
5/5 Drivers = 100 Points
4/5 Drivers = 80 Points
3/5 Drivers = 60 Points
2/5 Drivers = 40 Points
1/5 Drivers = 20 Points
Example:
You will start guessing where the 5 chase drivers listed will finish the race.
You will receive points according to the list above for the Chase Driver Line Up.
The Chase points will be added to your 5,000 points.
If all 5 drivers you pick come in where you say they will, then you get 100 points that week.
If only 4 come in where you say they will, you get 80 points.
If only 3 come in where you say they will, you get 60 points.
If only 2 come in where you say they will, you get 40 points.
If only 1 comes in where you say he will, you get 20 points.
All points are updated every Monday.

You only pick new drivers each week during the Chase, from a list we provide.
Any pick that is not on our list of drivers will be disqualified and deleted.
Players who miss 2 weekly picks in a row will be removed from the game.
PRIZES:
At the end of the regular season (first half), the winner will receive a small
prize to be chosen by RS staff. It is a token of appreciation for playing.
At the end of the Chase Driver Line Up in November, the winner will receive a
free Race Space t-shirt that they can have personalised. Please keep in mind
that we are not licensed to print any official NASCAR items, and will reject
any requests to do so. I am creating new RS shirt designs for the 2009 season.
All prizes will be sent as soon as possible, usually within 6-8 weeks.

it's thursday and it's ickky outside! cold and windy and rainy! i hate it! glad i have no more classes today and only one tommorow morning so i'll prolly be spending the majority of my time INSIDE! haha
