Race Space is coming upon its 3rd year anniversary, and with time comes change. In an effort to make RS more user friendly and appealing, some major changes are coming soon. During this off season, the site will be stripped to leave only the most used features. We believe it will be more inviting and less overwhelming for members of our community.
Some of the features that will be removed are the blogs and
music. Doing this will let us focus more on what we are really here for: NASCAR. B…

How do sponsors feel about Kyle not talking?
Sponsors would probably rather he NOT say anything at all when he is upset. Even Steve Addington says they know when to leave Kyle alone. Sponsors love attention, but prefer more positive attention. We cannot sit there thinking sponsors don’t know what Kyle is like. And since Kyle’s sales have gone up 600% at last count, I think the sponsors are just fine with how he is.
Why does he “run away” when he loses?
Drivers finishing outside t…

Kyle "Rowdy" Busch came to Grand Rapids with his friend and hometown boy Johnny Benson for what was celebrated as the "Rowdy Busch 125."
I've never been a big fan of Johnny since my ex brought my daughter to meet him and had a less than memorable experience... I've been completely mixed on Kyle, Always thought he had amazing talent, but then like at Texas last year in the trucks where he got into Ron Hornaday who was running for the championship. I remember Dover years ago in the NW series wher…

An ironic weekend at Lowes Motor Speedway. The underdogs have prevailed, with Mike Bliss on Saturday night, and now with David Reutimann winning the rain shorten Coca Cola 600.
1st off congrats to both and their crew chiefs for making the winning call. What makes it more ironic for me I think. I live just 45 miles northeast of the speedway. And in the last 24 hours, there hasn't been any rain here. I have sat glued to the tv (when not napping lol) and watched rain down the road. Sunshine here wi…

Last year RCR ran strong in virtually every venue with at least 2 of the 3 cars contending at the front every race. Then they finished as what I considered the strongest Garage from head to toe in 4th 5th and 6th position. I had high hopes for this year to say the least its been several years in the make, or remaking, RCR is on the verge of being dominant once again.
Then this year happened, with all the intrigue of the addition of Casey Mears and Clint changing to the 33 with a brand new team.…

From the
Car & Driver website:
In a move sure to spark outrage, the White House announced today that GM and Chrysler must cease participation in NASCAR at the end of the 2009 season if they hope to receive any additional financial aid from the government. Companies around the globe—Honda and Audi, to name two—have drawn do…

Tony Stewart was terriable when the race started then while ptting got put 2 laps down due to a untimly caution. Got 1 of his laps back the hard way by just driiving by the dominat car Kurt Busch and then got the free pass to get the other lap. Then drove up to a soild 8th place finish and moves up to 6th in points. Thats a championship caliber team being basically a brand new team and to have 4 races and being competitive in all 4 of them. I think he can contend for the cup this year and win se…

Dale began racing Hobby-class cars in and around his native Kannapolis, NC, working full-time by day, welding and mounting tires, and either racing or working on his cars by night. He financed his own effort, oftentimes having to borrow money to buy parts and pieces to run on the weekends, hoping to win enough to pay back the bank on Monday.
In 1973, Ralph Earnhardt died of heart failure while working on his race car. Crushed by the loss, Dale eventually learned to cope by becoming more determi…

I was reading something the other day, and someone mentioned being glad
that Kyle hasn't won yet. I think the key word there is YET. While I don't
know if he'll be as dominate as he was in the beginning of the 2008 season,
or if he'll flop like he did during the 2008 Chase, I do have a strong feeling
that he WILL visit Victory Lane again, in all series he races in.
From what I've seen and read so far, he is more hands on with the car/truck than
before (as if that's possible), and had been talki…

1.Tony Stewart is already proving naysayers wrong and he is FAST. 2.Dale Earnhardt Jr looks like he has improved communication with Eury Jr.
3.Jamie Mcmurray has confidence and speed.
4.Carl Edwards has already picked up from last year by at least winning the first segment.
5.Kevin H…
